now that promos is over, i don feel like doing anything that require any brain power. omgosh. i feel lazy to read the newspapers. anyway the star cruise was featured in the paper. what an awful shot. Bah. we were like, doing the chicken dance?
ok so nuh today was busy. there were an awful lot of kids today and so i kinda just went from kids to kids and played with them. i think there were 10plus of them in the small playroom. half way through, i felt tired and started playing this bottle thing with myself.
after the session, zanyu and i went cityhall to watch some international hockey thing. i wonder how the caucasians managed to survive in singapore's afternoon sun? i was fried just standing there watching for a few minutes. then went subway to have lunch. i couldnt my sandwich, didnt have the appetite.
then we went shopping. finally could go out with him.<3 we didnt see each other for two whole weeks cos we were mugging away. :( zanyu uh! he bought clothes and got me influenced and i bought clothes too! ah, i spent away my savings this week. darn! he bought two shirts while i got one.
then he sent me home. yay!
i feel so lazy to go look for my winter clothing for the japan trip. boo.
and i have yet to pay for my library fine and they sent me a letter to remind to pay for fines!
oh yea my lik sister took part in this colouring competition today and emerged second. she is so pro la.

HOORAY PEOPLE! promos is over, for most of us that it is. jiayou AJ people! think your exam starts later.
but i think i'll do worse for promos as compared to midyears.
econs was alright, miraculously, just that i screwed my question2 really badly.
maths was difficult but hopefully i can score okay.
chem was *&#$*&*&@*! i might just fail it.
bio was irritating. i thought maybe i can score reasonably ok for it. hopes dashed already la.
right after the bio paper, eileen and her classmates, linying jonathan and sadra plus my classmates yujuan and renying went on a volunteering session. haha! i know people are busy going out to relax but we chose to do volunteering. i think we'll all go heaven when we die.
we brought the kids out on a cruise. okay it's not really a cruise-cruise, it's just a tour on the ship and we get to eat cruise standard food. quite fun la. but was tiring cos i was feeling super tired after the stupid bio paper.
after the thing ended, yujuan renying and me went walk walk around habourfront centre. tried on so many accessories! haha ok pictures!

somehow i think studying for olevels was so much better than studying for promos. at least what we studied for olevels were concepts that we know almost at our fingertips already. promos is horrible. i am like trying to understand a whole new concept and am expected to apply and explain. gosh.
im so scared for chem and maths. i think they're gonna be killer papers.
and anyway my mum just cant stop buying ruffles back home. she already bought 3 ruffles chedar and sour cream (omg, love!) and this time the BBQ one. i'm gonna grow very fat at this rate.

haha what a cosy mugging session for us. and was much of a distraction as well. but it was fun nevertheless.

omg, my com is so lag.
okay so today was general paper. shit la, im scared that i have written a bit out of point for my essay and hopefully i did okay for compre. i really need to pass GP la! don wanna be retain. but i felt alright after gp paper, hopefully that's a good sign.
i know i sound weird but YES! finally promo is here. when it starts, time passes very quickly and promo ends very quickly. and i havent start on the three major econs topics yet. ah!
after gp, went for lunch with eileen in hougang mall before going back home. i was so drained that i fell asleep while sitting on my chair to rest. haha no idea how i did that but my neck hurts after that.
then went cafe with my sis and studied from 4pm to 7pm straight. felt so accomplished. sat for three hours and my back hurt after that. had dinner and now gonna start studying on cancer.
ok what a boring entry.

this is quite surprising.
i managed to pass the interview and am flying off to japan with the other 19students selected at the end of this year! whoo hoo! this news (from my ct) came really unexpected during bio class cos i thought i din do too well for my interview.
yay!
but so far, i don know anybody going. hopefully, i will be able to make some new friends during this trip. and i heard that it's gonna be winter over there so it'll really cold. but yay!
my family wasnt too enthusiastic about this though except for maybe weilin. they agreed in letting me sign up for the programme most probably because they thought that i wouldnt make it pass the write up and the interview.
my mum even asked if i could back out of this program like wth la. i fought for this opposrtunity and im not gonna give it up so easily ok. god knows when i'll have chances like this again if i give this up.
i guess i'll have to fork out my own money. luckily most of the other stuff like accomodation, tickets and meals are covered by MOE.
and im damn not confident for promo la! it seems like i've forgotten much of what i've studied during the last 3weeks. need to do lots of recapping and im afraid of genetic and hereditary chapter. wad's with linked genes, sex linkages, epistasis genes and dihybride.
ok need study econs. and i think the tv show extraordinary people is really cool.
YAY skipping school tomorrow. going for the japan briefing thing in the noon only.

NUH volunteering session was tiring today.
we met the same difficult kid we met last week. he didnt want to share and threw terrible tantrums something didnt go his way. he's quite violent too. and he's like only 6years old at the most. last week, we were all very patient. we were nice and did our best to coax him and all but this week, i was so sian already la.
somebody gotta teach him to care and share. but i guess his parents are too busy working to give him the kind of education he should be receiving at his age. and it's not the academic ones. it's something more important than that cos it shapes one's character.
was quite relieved to end the session. maybe we should seek experts' help. imagine him growing up without changing his character. he's bound to get into trouble la.
the crane zanyu did with the engineer set. he's damn proud of it and insisted that i post it up. haha.
oh and this is the crane that a patient did for us. so sweet la! so happy!
then went cwp to have lunch. bought munchy donuts. (:
bought my parents' anniversary card and then walked around a bit.
went back home to mug. 2hours 45mins straight of chem. quite a feat for me (:

it's scary how you see everyone around is mugging away.
the library these days will be completely filled. outside the library, it would be the students' bags scattered all over the place. no odac selling waffle, no interact club selling cookies, no sc selling flowers, no subway.
it's the serious mugging period. so scary!
wanted to go renying's house to watch america's next top model. i cant believe i studied econs till i forgot about the show. was feeling devastated in the morning. then a lot people wanted to come too. but after that, they reminded themselves and me that studying should come first now and decided to hold the outing till after promo.
so i decided to be like them, go home sleep and mug.
yay, i finished market failure! like finally. can start on past topics already!
okay nuh early in the morning tomorrow. gotta go sleep now.

i screwed up my first interiew when i was in sec1.
i guess i screwed up the second one too.

practice makes perfect. i want to do my interveiws so i can perfect them out.
collected my passport already. waited 2plus hours for a 5min processing thing. stupid la. but eitherway, yes! im ready to flyyyyyy away. anyone interesred to come along?

whee, i ponned school today, for the first time. (:
haha actually it's nothing to be proud of la. but it's quite thrilling. had only like 2 and a half hour oflessons minus a lot of breaks and useless CT and PW lessons. i reckon i can do more studying at home.
woke up at 8.30am. could have snoozed to a later time but i wanted to do something productive. but darn, after 4hours plus of mugging in the morning, i decided to give myself a long break in the noon.
watched goong before bathing and meeting zanyu. passed him something i did for him. ate a very late lunch then bought a bit of stuff, came back home and watched goong again. goong is addictive la. and im still 8 discs away from the final one.
ok so now im online. have to start on econs already. i Just started on econs, im so dead can. econs is like less than 2weeks away and all i have done is income inequality anf govt intervention. i don wanna start on market failure!
ah, interview tomrrow. and i always screw them up one! i hope renying and yujuan got in too!

today nuh volunteering session was a bit different from the usual ones.
we encountered this boy who is a bit weird. i think his parents do not spend much time with him and thus he became very attention seeking and wanted things his way. when we tried to leave, he wouldnt let us go and even followed us out and made quite a din outside the ward. we didnt really know what to do, especially in front of a group of doctors who just attended a practical paediatrics workshop and were having refreshments outside.
so we had to seek help from the nurses, who i think, didnt really give a damn about situation as they were quite busy. so we had to coax him back to the ward and had a hard time trying to leave the ward. i think we should be taught what to do in this kind of situation.
then there was this lady who scolded us for bringing cards into the wards because she was so freaking afraid that her children would be exposed to poker and turn bad like omg, we arent even playing cards. i think she should know the facts first before scolding us like that. the poker cards were provided by the hospital and not by us lo. and we werent even playing cards. her kids are damn poor thing la. but i just kept quiet, or rather i didnt even bother listening to whatever crap she was talking.
then went lunch with zanyu and slacked. <3
then studied a bit of ionic equilibria and returned home.
school's starting. omgosh.
have to run tomorrow!

i ahve to go make passport tomorrow myself. urgh. im so lazy to go all the way to lavander to do thatm but i guess i have no choice. must remember to bring my mp3 player.
yesterday was alright.
went nuh in the morning and played with kids. i played with this girl for 45mins i think. haha, she was damn amused with the photos i have in my phone. and im not even sure if volunteers are allowed to let them play with phones.
and i wonder what we can do make them like doctors.
then zanyu and i went the cathay and very fortunately, there were tickets for ratatouille. i thought we wouldnt be able to catch the movie cos the tickets were selling out fast.
then lunched at plaza sing and we spent so long in carrefour, hogging this electronic keyboard thing and played horrible music. haha. but it was fun.then rushed for the movie. i think the movie's really cute. haha. but it's not really really fantastic.
after the movie, i changed into my dress and we ate in yakun. met up with minghwei after that and realised that all our class guys pangseh us like wth la. went six to buy earrings first. omg i love six stuff.
went to collect tickets and met up with shayang and Friend. the party was okay. but the atmosphere wasnt there. nobody was dancing, a bit sian. and we cant buy alcoholic drinks. ): but the i got use to the loud blasting music.
decided to leave early and went marina square to shop. omgosh, my flats almost killed me. my heels hurt after so much walking. was glad to reach home and rest my feet. i wanna get heels! but they're all too big for me. im serious, i cant even fit into the smallest size. this sucks.
gonna go for a run tomorrow. i feel so unfit and i bet my stamina dropped already.
