gosh, i actually woke up at 8 to do work.
next week is gonna be another crazy week, with bio spa to study for, tripod closing ceremony to prepare for and the ceremony to attend itself. im so sorry trans4mers, for not attending the meeting this tuesday.
anyway NUH friends session today was an eye opener. the scene is no longer what we see on tv. it was real patient contact and im still trying to get used to it. met zanyu and we went NUH together. was there half an hour early, thus we had breakfast. i drank a cup of hot milo since it was cold.
had a short briefing and then we gathered some toys and headed to the wards. there werent enough children patients for us to interact with, so the in charge brought some of us to the shaw NKF and i would have preferred shaw NKF to the wards actually. i have always wanted to work with NKF patients.
i now understand why people say they are afraid of hospitals. it really does give you this ominous feeling, with people streaming in and out, nurses whispering to the parents' ears and the child looking all scared and worried.
eileen and i attended this girl. she had to take so many tablets! the whole scenario feels so familiar because i have seen it so many times on tv but this time round, im there to actually witness the whole thing. it's really a new experience because it feels so damn real.
we played jenga and many other games. had to constantly help her feel stuff cos her vision was affected by the illness and what not. i realised i feel really happy when i see her laugh because i feel that my task is fulfilled and i have the ability to make a person happy. this is the same when i tutored the kids in touch young arrows. the feeling is incredible. (:
then rushed to college day and slept in the LT. so tired. didnt have a proper lunch. then after college day i had 1hour 15mins to spare, so i took my time to get to cityhall, changed and look for some edibles. bought cheese pancake, walk around somemore, and met up with the tripod people. discussed about our presentation for about 2hours plus.
didnt really have a proper dinner as well. haha.
shiit, i really gotta start on my econ essay.
and i hope my studies wouldnt be affected by the NUH friends thing and tripod. ah gotta manage my time really well.

oh my gosh, did i mention in the last post that im gonna be super busy this week. my staurday is gone and i have PW meeting on sunday. ah, no time for homework!
hmmm i participated in an interhouse floorball competition on thursday along with renying, yujuan, stella and two of stella's floorball friends. we had intrahouse game first and we were up against a rather strong team comprising of a hockey player and i think many soccer players. haha but we won! whoohoo! i really cannot attack lo. i love defending. cos i like contesting for the ball and whacking the opponents' blade.
was very happy that we won. cos we'll be representing draco in the interhouse competition. really hoped that we'll make draco proud cos draco is really going down the drain.
after floorball competition, me and naf went for our 4.8k run. ran to east coast and back again and omgoodness, the run was exhilarating. it was because we were running at our own comfortable pace and the wind was lovely. it just rained and random raindrops will fall from the leaves and it's quite nice overall. i so dont mind another run. and i wasnt tired after the run. sprinted one round around the track when we were finishing and i almost died. haha.
today we had half day but i have to stay behind to do the noticeboard. i realise i never get to enjoy full day or half day. i always have something on. so sad. but the board was nice. great job yuhan! our board looked so super nice next to the bowling one, no offence.
then rushed back home, rested, bathed, ate my dinner and met letch. had a nice chat while we waited for the rest of our classmates to come. dinner was okay. i was sitting right at another end of the table with massie and didnt really manage to talk much to my other classmates. but it was good nevertheless. to gather and bitch and update one another.

yay im updating my blog cos i finished all the homework im supposed to do already. hooray!
i cant really remember what happened this week.
this tuesday i went to watch harry potter with nafisah! we kinda chiong-ed after lesson ends and managed to catch the 4.30pm show in The Cathay. omgosh, the theatre was so cold, both of us were dying man. the movie was alright lo. as in, it wasnt as bad was what everyone claimed. ewww harry kissed cho chang. it has like no link whatsoever to the story hello? and i think that lovegood girl was weird but cute. din really catch her name.
i have no inkling what the book was about cos i read it 2years back. maybe that's why i think the movie's okay.
we had a change of coach this monday onward. ms siow is gonna take a rest and have a smooth delivery. (: now it's miss teoh and the training grew 50times tougher. i wanted to cry so many times cos i was very frustrated as how little strength and how weak my mental strength is. it's horrible. but im glad i pulled through.
but now that training has grown tougher, it means that vjc netball team's gonna be stronger! yay! i hope in the end, i'll be a much much better player than before. i need to improve in so so so many areas. stamina, speed, ball handlings and elevation. omgosh.
we did what trackers normally do today. it was okay la. and because we have no training on friday, we have to run 4.8k on our own omgoodness. haha gonna run with naf tomorrow since it's the only day we're free.
this weekend's gonna be freaking packed. friday's halfday. wheeeehoo! gonna do netball notice board, go back home rest and then go for class dinner. jiong guang and letch! i might be able to go dinner like super on time now. haha yay! wait, dinner's still on right?
staurday i have NUH friends in the morning, college day in the noon and tripod starbucks meeting at night. and sunday i have PW meeting. no time for any other thing my god.

went out with zanyu today.
we got unhappy with each other on the train.
so we were really quiet like from yck to bishan.

in the end i bought black peace sign earrings. i think it's quite you xing ge. haha.
then we went BUM and i tried on this denimn short. it was nice but i din buy cos i think im spending too much money. and i can buy it for a cheaper price too. and the short will expand after you put to wash. like how my BUM skirt did, which is so freaking loose now. sickening.
then we din want to hang around in bishan anymore. so went back khatib and shared 1 tub of ben&jerry's smores ice cream. there's no cookie dough. haix so sad.

touch young arrow ;
the cip visit was quite fun, definitely much more interesting than the ones with the elderlys. the kids were so adorable can! i took liking to this particular malay boy. he totally looks like a chinese boy who swims a lot.
i ended up tutoring this really shy and quiet girl. it's really very difficult to get her to speak. but we agreed to take turns reading the problem sums aloud. i hooked pinkies with her! it was very fulfilling for me. i was extremely satisfied when she gave me a reply or when she smiled. cos it's really hard to get a smile and a reply from her. she is very very shy.
then we played games. omgosh, i had fun with those kids la.fine amy and joel, my shirt did not go with my jersey skirt after all. seems like the skirt will have to rot in my wardrobe. what a waste man.
met zanyu for dinner. i had the mood to go for a walk in the esplanade, by the river. but in the end to our utmost surprise, we managed to watch fireworks. i think they were rehearsing for the NDP preview next week.
then took the train back and he sent me home. (:

i feel so accomplished!
cos i have finished my EoM in less than 2hours. i actually set my alarm at 8.30 to wake myself up to do EoM. shutupeverybody! so sat on the chair from 8.45am to 10.28am. i hope my EoM is fine. haiya, i don really care already cos i know im not gonna redo everything again. im just afraid that my source isnt right.
my books are due today and i have not even finished reading 1book. so pathetic right. i renewed marker twice and i still cant finish the book. omgosh. is my life really That busy? or i'm just a freaking slow reader.
anyway anyway i realised that victorian's shirts go with my netball jersey skirt! hip hip hooray! that $60+ skirt need not rot in my cupboard anymore!
alright tripod stuff later. going Touch Yong Arrows to do cip. haha yay i love cips!

i really cant think of a week which i am not busy.
ok today i hosted denise from our tripod group as the program includes a school exchange thing. i did her a really spastic card. hopefully, she'll like it. so we took bus to changi and then another bus to vjc.
she's so suay la. i had like chem lecture, maths, lecture and boring bio lecture. haha i bet she felt really bored la. i hope she had fun today. the only good thing was that i get to be dismissed at 12pm due to some east zone science carnival thing and she gets to leave at 12pm. so good right.
and i was so scared that she'll get lost in this ulu east part of singapore. i donlike the east side, it still feels foreign and unfriendly. im still a pro north zone person!
science carnival was madness! students and people just streamed in and out of the S&T centre and we had to manage the game. was relatively fun la. had to chiong to get my lunch, if not i wont have energy for training later. shared carrot cake with eileen and bought another snack for lunch. omg, im like eating damn a lot this few days.
training was okay. did weights. i advanced to adding weights for one of the legs section. horrible, i bet i'll start aching tomorrow la. then naf and i went cycling on the bike machine for half an hour. a very good workout afterall.
omgosh im so freaking busy im a bit worried about my workload. im afraid i wont be able to complete my stuff.

shit, i should really be starting on my EoM 2nd draft but i don have the EoM mood so i shall prcrastinate.
nothing exciting happened over the past 2days.
we had a match against a school from britain and they are all tall-ies *&*$#&*&*@. we lost. haix, we must work harder! im very not used to the new team mates i play with. i guess im too used to having geri and sam as the shooters and serena and riana as the defenders.
yay gonna improve and train up. (:
beeting came along too! after the match, we debriefed before going for dinner. i missed the J2s muchie, even though there were only sam and viting but i felt really happy hanging with them. im closer to the J2s than the J1s la.
reached back home at 9.45pm? haha.
today met up with zanyu! it's been exactly a week since i last saw him. ): i was early, surprisingly cos laptak taught me an easier way to go back. whoo hoo. the entire journey took only slightly more than an hour. so i went home with laptak and then met zanyu in khatib. went mac to eat before going for a food shopping spree in ntuc. bought stuff to bring to school so i can spend less.
he sent me home after that.
came back home, did work and stuff.

serious, i cant remember when was the last time i blogged.
ANYWAY tripod camp was a blast for me! it was extremely fun and useful.
FRIDAYi self dismissed myself at 1245 to go home and get my fat camp bag. reached home at 2plus, bathed, packed a bit and off i go for the camp. honestly, i wasnt expecting much from the camp since the precamp briefing wasnt really impressive.
got to rgs with eileen. we got really lost in orchard cos we couldnt find the stupid bus stop that will bring us to rgs. so we went there late. we played games to warm ourselves up and had dinner and then it was the night games.
we had to crawl under the benches (ew!), swing over the monkey bars (omgosh i cant do that lei. haix) and jump over the rock wall. we helped one another out and we completed most of our stuff on time, if not early.
we didnt emerged as the top three positions but i felt that we really bonded. our gastby song rocks. haha. had a really quick bath and then went to sleep. i couldnt sleep well cos the floor was hard and my hair was wet. thankgoodness, i woke up okay next day. i wasnt too tired or something.
SATURDAYwoke up, washed up and then discussed our WVO project. i was quite worried about the ice breaker session which i had to be in charged of. i was just praying that everything will go smoothly. wasnt really looking forward to it cos we got a elderly home and volunteering at elderly or nursing homes for the elders arent really my cup of tea.
we got really high on the bus and kept singing songs and cheering. reached there to discover the CJC was there too. so our plans were kinda spoilt but we adapted to the changes and make the best out of the situation. sang songs, did dances and listen to talks. overall, it wasnt so bad la.
then we went long john to eat. rushed like crazy and off we go for the botanical garden, which was our first station for the amazing race. i had to hop on my right foot (while the rest was either blind folded or couldnt talk) throught out the whole journey and had to be constantly supported by my group members. thanks brenda and yeeling for not complaining cos i think i squashed their toes many times. it was damn tiring la. we didnt complete everything in the garden as we were running out of time.
rushed off to our 2nd station which was far east plaza and did a scavenger hunt. got 7 items i think. did mind teasers on the way too. by the end of the 2nd station we were seriously dying so we returned to rgs.
then we played sea snakes game. seriously, my group rocked la. there was so many irritating people trying to hinder us from reaching our destinations but we kept encouraging and motivating one another. yay even groups emerged as the winner! bathed, dinner-ed and watched paying it forward. it was a nice show. very inspiring.
then it was lights out. i slept like a dead.
SUNDAYi felt quite sad that the camp was ending cos i think i really felt the bond in the team. we came together as strangers but left as wonderful team mates. we had a talk by the founder of 77th street and it was inspiring. she's really danm cool la. she brought 2 interesting guys along. one knew how to beat box and one could do break dance really well. had reflection session as the whole cohort and i finally plucked out enough courage to be the first one to start the 2nd reflection session topic.
through the camp, i realised i know myself better. i always thought that i am someone who just isnt cut out to be a leader but i realised it wasnt true. most of the time, im either too lazy or too scared to take up that postion but i know that if i really want to, i can be a good one. i found out that i was not daring enough most of the time and was afraid to be the first one to start something.
the camp was great. i was so so glad that i signed up for the camp cos i have brought home so many lessons with me.
yay group 4 rocks! my facilitators, joshua, amy and joel were fantastic. so were my team mates. thanks so much! remember to leave a message on my tagboard if you guys ever come across my blog, so i wont talk bad things about you! ha just kidding, gotta go take a nap now.

things i did today:
#1 got hooked onto this new hongkong show on cable.
it's really super addictive. i wanted to start a bit of work at 10am but i couldnt stop myself from watching. i just watched and watched from 9am to 11am. the show's supposed to end at 1pm i think. ah!
#2 went out with zanyu <3
thanks for sending me home though you're tired. had an interesting talk on the way back home. and he din sleep! sucha miracle la.
#3 went toys Rus, page one (the books there are very very interesting!), action city, sky park and i think that's all. vivo is just not a shopping place despite it being the largest retail place whatsoever. i like shopping in marina square and in town.
#4 wore my new yellow tube top with straps!
#5 did a bit of chem.
there's school tomorrow! haix. i hate school. i hate busy weeks. i wanna just slack and rot at home. and i cant go out next week cos there's tripod camp. oh no!

omgosh, i have already spent 2 and a half hour on maxima and minima and im still left with 2questions to the end of the tuotorial. haix, im so slow la.
went for the tripod precamp briefing and it turned out that rjc, hci and cjc backed out of the program last minute and vjc is the only jcs among the many secondary schools. so the activities they conducted were more of secondary school and it's quite boring.
split into different group and i got into group 4. the facilitors were really nice and my members were great. our group name is trans4mers (hurhur) and we're going elderly homes for community service. haix, i so wanted child care centre. lucky eileen, she got that. im so gna be bored during the community service thing la.
then played ice breakers and had short presentation from each school. vj's one was really funny. each slide was 2second long and everybody didnt have time to read the slides at all. there was this part where we were introducing them the ccas in vjc and the list just flashed past and everybody just started laughing. -.-
i hope the camp would be fun. we werent allowed to wear fbt shorts. im so dead la. i have almost 6 fbts and 2 vjc shorts and i have to bring that pathetic 2 vjc shorts and probably 1anderson shorts. and we have to tuck in. it's quite strict, like how iy was back then in secondary school.
then after the whole thing, eileen and i went town to eat subway and bought massie's presents. whoo hoo mas! you're so gonna like it cos the stuff we got for you really suit you. (:
then rushed off to meet zanyu. sorry eileen! made you signed up for the card alone. he was hungry, so i got him something to eat and slacked under the block while he ate. then he sent me home.

the start of school indciates the ever increasing workload and the numerous activities lined up for me.
okay so eileen and me signed up for this tripod camp, which supposedly is a interaction camp for people of our age group in different education instituitions. i wanted poly cos i think spending a day in poly sounds more fun than in other jcs or ite. there's a exchange program thinger where we will host them in our school for a day and vice versa. i hope they will be polys signing up for it!
but so far quite a number of jcs signed up, including vjc, rjc, hci, cjc and etc. many secondary schools too. so i'll be quite busy in the next month or so, with tripod camp, exchange program, community service, netball friendlys and carnivals. but i will have to miss 2 very important bio practical cos of tripod camp and im not happy. :( haix, don like make up lessons, or merging with other classes. i feel so alone.
we havent gotten back any midyears results except maths and i got A for it! yay! wasnt really expecting an A since i felt really drained during the paper. but maths is getting tougher now (omg maxima and minima!) and haiya, life sucks la.
netball trainings have been good. did weights training on wednesday and omgoodness, im so weak i cant stand myself.we really did those serious intensive wieght lifting and i got such bad aches on thursday and today.
training today was okay. did drills and stuff. after training we ran 4.2km, i almost died. but it was a good run cos it was very windy. i felt like i've ran 8km or something la and it turned out to be only 4.2km *&*@&$*&!
going for tripod meeting tomorrow and i have loads of things to do over the weekend. ah! i want holidays!

this was taken during speech day. yay our ties rock!
sunday 010707was supposed to go ice skating with 4/5 people but it was cancelled. so i went for a dim sum date with family members in fortunate restaurant to eat.

the food was okay. i didnt get to eat my dessert! called the normal dishes like porridge, chicken feet blah blah. my little cousin came! everytime i see him, he seems to grow cuter and cuter. <3

the dim sum date ended quite early, like around 1230. so my sis and i decided to go bishan to buy her stuff and to play arcade. went back home to bathe before heading to bishan. we played bishi bashi, drum thing and 3times basketball. i lost to her everytime. wa lao!
my sis scored higher than me three consecutive times! im so bu fu qi. must be the lack of training!
then met zanyu. i was feeling kinda moody. so sorry! we went subway for dinner, did a bit of maths before going marina square to walk around. yay action city has a new safe box. haha! but i think the atm machine is a lot cooler but it costs so much more.
then he sent me home. (:
monday 020707i went out with minghwei today. our plan initially was to have lunch, play pool and then shop till we die. but i forgot to bring my NRIC card so we couldnt play in marina square and the kpool in cineleisure was packed. haix, so sad la.
met her in cityhall. she was late. hmrph. haha then we went lunch in pizzahut.it was packed as well. we waited quite long for our food but we chatted to past time. then after lunch we went to various shops. showed her the super pretty billabong wallet in the wallet shop.
then we into a shop and spent an awfully long time trying clothes because the sale person kept on bringing clothes for us to try. or rather minghwei. i only tried 2 long shirts which im wearing them as dresses. the sale person kept telling me to go with tights. i frowned really hard and said i will never wear tights. oops, i think i was quite rude but i was very disgusted by the idea. haha.
but the sale person was really really nice!
so in the end i got this dress. i was very hesitant in buying it cos i couldnt think of any occasion in which i can wear. im not a very dress-y person, afterall. after calling a million people, i decided to buy it since i don have a single dress in my wardrobe. and it costs only $40, which is relatively cheap for a dress.
the dress i bought. i think it's quite formal but minghwei and the sale person insisted that it wasnt. oh well.
i did minghwei a clay thing. heh. im like so nice.

then we trained to somerset, thinking that we would go play pool in cineleisure. but we couldnt cos it was packed. there was people waiting for available tables somemore. so we dropped the idea and decided to go OG. bad idea! i spent so much today la!

i hate tube tops! im like too small for them. i cant fit properly into all the tube tops i tried and all of them were so nice. but i bought the yellow one and decided to put my own straps to make it a spaghetti. i love the colour. it's yellow!
we were both attracted to sunglasses for some unknown reason. we kept trying them on. but i think OG is quite brainless to put the tags in the middle.
